Week 8 - Introduction to Walks

This Week was about the most normal walk. One step is taking exactly 1 second on average, that means 24 frames.

We had to do one vanilla walk blocking, the planning thumbs of it, the revision of tailor, last week and a stupose. My mentor said in Q&A: Oh, this week you have not much to do. Maybe you can revise another assignment again.
:D
Oh, man.

Okay, here's my stuff:

Tailor once again (it's still not good enough, too much even spacing)

Aaaand my pose, this weeks task was to show physical strength:

Week 7 - Spline Editing

This week was all about tailor.
So I continued with my work on him:
It's much better than last week, yay :)

I also had the time to redo my bouncing ball from week 3:

Finally, I'm happy with it :)

Now I'm ready for week 8..

Week 6 - Anticipation and Squash and Stretch

Week 6 wasn't my best animation week. The revision of the pendulum has to be redone and tailor isn't great as well.

Week 5 - Overlapping Action

Already in week 5, woah.
To get along with arms and tails, this week was about overlapping action. We started small and had to animate a pendulum which is dragged by a platform.

Here is my planning:

And my animation:

Another task was the devastation pose of stu:

And the revision of the two bouncing balls from last week:

Week 4 - Introduction to Timing and Spacing

This week we had two exercices:

1. to revise the bouncing ball of last week
2. to plan and animate a light and a heavy ball in the same scene

Here is my revised Basketball

This is my planning for the two balls. The green one should be a bowling ball and the violett one a Beachball.

My beachball is too floaty and the spacing is too even, so I have to redo it, but for now:

REVISION
The normal bouncing ball is driving me crazy, here another run:

My mentor still wasn't satisfied with it, and me neighter, so I revised it again in week 7.

Week 2 at Animation Mentor

Yay, I joined the Animation Mentor School :D
Our first week was orientation and reading about the 12 Animation Principles.

This weeks assignment is to go to a public place and sketch some cool poses.

Then we had to draw in the lines of action and circle the most interesting pose.

After that, we had to pose the circled one with the Stu-Rig. I did another one because I couldn't do the sitting pose as well as I wanted to

REVISION
In eCrit my mentor drew over a few of my poses to get a better line of action. I did it as well on my paper:

In Q&A, my mentor tweaked my sitting stu pose. I tried to improve it according to his feedback:
